I am a R.N that has a diversified background in the medical field. Currently I am working with medically fragile infants and small children. I became licensed by the State to be able to care for these babies in my home. After a few years, my husband and I decided to become foster Parents to the developmentally diabled infants. We have had 9 foster infants/toddlers in the last 3 years living with us. The shortest stay for any of them was 14 months. We have 1 child living with now. A 4 yr old girl. The little girl has been with us since she was 5 months old and prior to that she was in the hospital. So this is the only home she has ever known.

There have been trying times but also more joy, I love working with these infants that medically science tells us they can't do something and watch them grow beyond what they can do and overcome the challenges they have, That to me is what it's all about.

I decided last fall to start an internet business (which I now have 4 & adding) to be able to stay home while caring for Jolene. We just obtained guardianship of her.
