Hi, my name is Denise. I was born and bred in England. My family (parents) are originally from South America. I have two older brothers and a younger sister who I am quite close to. I am also a mother to one child - Luke. My hobbies are, believe it or not exercising (smile), listening to music - I love oldies and jazz, and have even sang karaoke. I love looking at soaps and old movies. (Bette Davis etc.)

I have travelled to a few countries including Israel, Egypt, Holland, France, Trinidad, Belgium and Guyana, and at some stage hope to do some more travelling. My next stop will be Sardinia sometime in the autumn.

I also worked abroad in South America for the European Commission - affiliated with the European Union for over 2 years.  At the moment I am busy with my new business (wellness industry), which I am really enjoying. I have in the pass set up and run a family business in South America with one of my brothers. This was a Sports Bar and Restaurant. I really enjoyed doing that, as it allowed me to meet all kinds of people from different nationalities and backgrounds.

At this present time I am back at college doing a short course on Diet and Nutrition, as good health is also one of my passions. This also compliments my business.

I would eventually like to set up a charity for women based overseas who are in need. There are so many women who are suffering, and this goes unnoticed. All around the globe are women crying out for assistance in some way or another. This is something I am already getting involved in. Often times these women have children, and are left to bring them up on there own, having no one to turn to. I believe that we do have a duty as fellow human beings to be our brother's keeper so to speak.

Although my life is quite challenging, I feel very fulfilled, and this is because of my relationship with God. At this point I feel satisfied and contented, but one never knows what the future holds, but be rest assured God will also be my future. Watch this space. smile
