I'm fifty-four years old. My wife Janet has been putting up with me over thirty years now. We have three wonderful children, Michelle, Shawn and Elizabeth. Michelle has graduated from college and is now married to a great guy named Trey and we have our first grandson, Teddy. Shawn’s in his 2nd year of college and Elizabeth is in the Seventh grade this year. My perfect day starts on the beach. My wife and I are holding hands walking down the beach looking for shark’s teeth and neat shells. The tide is going out and the waves are just reaching our feet. The wind is blowing, and the birds are flying low over the water. Michelle and Trey are holding hands walking about twenty yards ahead of us. We’re talking about how happy they are. We see Elizabeth setting in a pool of water that was formed from the high tide playing with Teddy. She has a big smile on her face as she's watching Shawn skim boarding in the shallow water in front of her. As we look at each other we know we are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for.
