My name is Ben Germo and I am coincidentally linked with first and the number 1. I was born in Limasawa Is. (where the first Spanish mass was held in the country) in the province of Leyte (where the 1st landing of the liberating US forces of Gen. Douglas MacArthur occured) and I am currently residing in one of the 7,100 islands of the Philippines. I am happily married to one and only one wife, Lulu for 26 years and we have 2 sons, age 23 & 25 and at the moment both are single. They are both Electronics and Communication Engrs and currently working in several multinational companies here in the Philippines.

I am a retired Mechanicl Engr by profession and finished the academic requirement of the Master in Business Administration (MBA, candidate). I worked in various managerial positons in several multi-national semiconductor and pharmaceutical companies here in the Philippines for over 30 years. My major involvement in my engineering and technical works were in the area of constructing new factories and rehabilatating old ones and operating and maintaining on-going facility. I retired from my employment last 2003.

Presently I am working as Century Sales Officer of Century Properties Inc., one of the most prestigious real estate developers, marketers and builders of high-rise & high-end condominiums, house & lot projects and property managers of several companies here in the Philippines.

Our company introduces the first in the Philippines and the new concept in the condominium industry as we are offering an option of converting this into a  hassle-free and pressure-free condotel business.  This set up will entirely free the owner from the day to day activities and pressures of operating a business because we will manage their condotel for them. Furthermore this will generate a lifetime passive and guaranteed income and by our estimates this income will give a payback period in less than 10 years. In addition this particular business can easily be availed even by foreigners without a hassle of coming to the Philippines as we have arranged procedures of making transactions thru the internet; thereby, elimanating the expenses of traveling.

I am also brokering with people who have extra funds and to connect with people who are in need of capital for a new or on-going business ventures. I am also currently doing research work about nature and I am focused on the great natural wonders of our world.

My other interest is in the area of connecting with people who are retired and also to those who are about to retire and to be a  guide in managing their hard earned retirement funds and to be a source of information where to find a good, sound and lasting investment.

I want also to connect with the young people for I would like to share with them my experiences in life with regards to finances and health.

In finances, my advice for them is while their income capability is at its peak they should continue to work on it with passion but with caution and to avoid that very tempting "get-rich" business venture. They should carefully manage their finances by investing in a secured and sound tangible business; a kind of business which has value even with some economic downturns may occur.

They should always look for opportunities that will give them lasting benefits and adequately cover their future needs. 

In health, they should not overwork which may lead them to becoming workaholic. They should avoid stressful situations and vices which will destroy their health and relationship. They should take a good night's sleep, eat the right and balance diet and exercise regularly.

These are the things that I want to be inculcated in the lives of our young people and I hope that  this will serve as a guide in their long journey in life because life itself has full of paradox. There is a saying which goes " You lose health to make money and you lose money to restore health." May God bless you.
