G'day to all, I became interested in computers and the internet, in particular Internet Marketing, about 2 & 1/2 years ago after sustaining a serious back injury at work. It was so serious that I was told I could never return to my normal work activities as a concrete foundation contractor, which was a big blow because I had been in the building industry for most of my life and have always loved the outdoor work environment but going back to it may lead to paralysis so I made a decision to replace my income using the internet. When I first started I didn't even know how to send an email and had only "heard" of the term internet but now I own and operate several different types of websites including an Advertising site, an IM Video Tutorial Membership site, a couple of Affiliate Sales sites, a Health & Fitness site, and in the final stages of building a List Building Membership site. I also keep busy building Squeeze Pages for some of my products, and I am an active member of several Social and Business networking sites and have Blog and a Twitter sites and dabble in Article Marketing. I am the proud father of 6 great kids and 3 beautiful grandkids, the latest is just 5 mths old, and we are all very close and have many, many family gatherings throughout the year and even though I have several health problems I still attend live music gigs by bands that 3 of my sons are involved in. I believe if a 56 yr old ex-concreter who has never used a computer in his life can create several streams of income from the internet then anyone, with a bit of passion, patience and committment, can do the same...you don't have to be a rocket scientist or rolling in cash to do it either...I am living proof of that :0)
