Hello Everyone, I am a simple woman with a great sense of humour. You have to be in this world.haha With what has happened to me in the last couple of years. I found out I was diabetic, and have a heart condition. When I started doing something about it, I was working for a company for 5 years.I thought. I was laid off from a job I had been at for 5 years. Call me old-fashion but I stay at jobs and do not jump around. During this time I was offered another job that offered more money and more hours. I did not take the offer because I wanted to stay where I was and use the insurance to get myself better. Well a year and half later, after I was finally getting things under control(diabetis and my heart) I got laid off. No warning. Came in on Monday before my birthday(Friday) and said that Friday would be our last day.I said thanks for the birthday present.This hit hard. The first thought I had was my medication. It took me about 2 weeks but I took care of that. The next thing was my doctor. It took me about 2 weeks on that also. During this time also I have been going out trying to find a job.Finding a job in this economic time is crazy. You do not speak to a real person. They want your resume, then say they will get in touch with you. NOT! What happened to the old way of applying for a job and getting an interview? But with all that going on I still have my spirit and my sense of humour!
