I am an old fashioned girl at heart. I am an excellent cook. I do canning, I even had a home business at one time making birthday and wedding cakes. I have always cooked from scratch I don't have the space for all the mixes you would need to store. I bake bread and convert recipies  to be healthier with more fiber, less fat etc. I enjoy gardening and always grow fresh herbs for cooking I grow mostly perenials  with just  a few annuals. Shawn is an artisan carpenter. He learned much of the trade from his dad who worked in the West Haven Ship Yards until they closed. He works as a carpenter foreman but is presently laid off.

I had 4 children  and Darrin who lived with us during his teen years.I have 5 grandchildren Lexi 4, Anthony soon to be 2. Shana 15.,Justin 6 and Autumn who just turned 1My  Daughter Barbie has two step daughters Madison 16 and Vieda 12  Shawn has not seen his son since he was a child . Niclos is presently in Irag. He and his wife are expecting in Feb.

We live in a Victorian Home built by my great grandfather in 1892.

Shawn is doing a fantastic job of restoring it.
