I am a nurse by trade and love helping people.  It has its rewards and frustrations.  I work in one of the city hospitals.  Also, I am a Registered Travel Nurse which takes me away from home to work in Northern Manitoba.  I have gained much in the way of experience and friends.

I have a 23 year old son who is still living at home while he attends university.  My dog Toora, will be four this month (June 2004).  She is mostly husky and doesn't like living outdoors.  I suppose we have spoiled her.  But now we must live in the "house of hair."  Well, at least she is happy and has proven to be an excellent pet. 

I love crafts of all sorts from drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting, needlework, etc.  I also enjoy writing and photography.  I love camping; winter and summer, hiking, biking, swimming, and taking adventures where I am inspired to write and take photos. 

I believe that a smile is contagious, our attitude can dictate our experiences and I treat others the way I would like to be treated.  Life is way to short to sweat the small stuff so, in essence, I am a very easy going kinda person.  I look forward to establishing friendships on this site as well as sharing information.  Hope everyone is having a great day.
