I was born on June 30 1954 at Kindersley Saskatchewan, and grew up on the farm about 14 miles out of town. I went to school grades 1 and 2 at Elizabeth elementary school. Grades 3-6 at Westbury elementary. My parents bought a house in Medicine Hat Alberta in 1974 and semi-retired there. My father passed away there in 1976 at the age of 59. I was working for Hat Hardware at the time. Owned by who many local people at the time said was one of Canada's wealthiest people, Harry Viener. I went back to the farm to work with my 2 brothers and brother-in-law for the summer in 1978. In 1983 I came to Calgary to live, and have been living here ever since.
