I was born in the Okefenokee Swamp lands in South Georgia, USA.  My Dad was in the newspaper business and when I was 15 we moved to the Memphis, TN, USA area.  A few years after moving to Memphis, my Dad left the newspaper business so here I am still in the Memphis, TN area 38 years later.

I guess some my Dad's newpaper rubbed off on me because I have always liked to write and today's internet provides me with a wonderful audience.  I became interested in internet advertising and promotions about seven years ago.

My Mother's ancestors include the world famous Sea Captain, William Dampier.  He has been often called "A Pirate of Exquisite Mind" by Michael Preston & Diana Preston.  William Dampier was a Explorer, Naturalist, and Buccaneer: Darwin took his books aboard the Beagle. Swift and Defoe used his experiences as inspiration in writing Gulliver's Travels and Robinson Crusoe. Captain Cook relied on his observations while voyaging around the world. Coleridge called him a genius and "a man of exquisite mind." In the history of exploration, nobody has ventured further than Englishman William Dampier.

I am a believer and I believe that all God really wants us to do is acknowledge Him, respect Him, honor Him, and Worship Him.  He is the Almighty, the Creator of the Universe, surely He deserves a few Thank You's once in a while from us.
