Memorable Monday Profile of the Day 11-12-2007
11/12/2007 9:16:54 AM
First and foremost, Happy Veterans' Day to All. No matter where you live, most if not all of us know someone who has or is serving in the military & possibly a war (as my grandfather did during WWII).

Okay, this person does not look a day over 40 and he is full of wisdom and is such an inspiration and help to myself and many others. He is very experienced and good at what he does.

Congratulations Bruce "SeaWeedMan" Butler. Enjoy your day.

Please visit his profile and learn more about him here & here
.

Thanks, Stephen ( POTW nominee - thread )

Greetings All, Ditto to the above post honoring American Veterans. As an ex-marine myself, I would like to extend a hearty and heartfelt Semper-Fi to all Marines, ex, present and future. This past Saturday was 10 November, which is the official birthday of the Marine Corps as we now know it. And there is a lot of history, fighting bloodshed and sacrifice behind the rembrance in this holiday that is somewhat sacred among our commeraderi. I am one of those that don't believe we shuol dbe in Iraq or any conflict that supports Big Oil and corporate interests over human life. But I won't argue that today. To all who hve served and gladly bear the Globe, Eagle & Anchor; Semper-Fi, Do or Die! - Benton Middleton

Hi Bruce,

My husband was in the Marines during a non-war time of the early 1980's.  My nephew is right now doing his 3rd tour of Iraq.  We also have several relatives who were or are in the Air Force.  Congratulations on being feature today!  All our veterans are very important and should be commended every day!
