Let me introduce the most awesome group of team mates anyone could ever have! Not only are they my very good friends, but I also have the pleasure of working with them to bring this forum to all of you, each and every week;

and myself;

Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:

1. Acts of kindness that they show to their fellow man.

2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.

3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.

4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example

5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work

So, if you know of anyone here at AdlandPro that are not necessarily "high profile" people per say, and that don't get the recognition that they deserve, let us know. Here is MANUEL'S bio;

I am a simple Gentleman who enjoys setting in the window looking at the birds as they dance in the trees in my front yard. After spending twenty seven years in the Marine Corps rarely seeing birds in a calm setting being birds instead of dinner it is wonderful. I have seen many harsh and dehumanizing things. My chosen military life had been regimented which carried on into my home, wherever it was that I was needed and could carry my family. I've always lived the life of a Marine, life is what you make it and it can be good or bad depending on how you look at it, as I have heard it said, when life throws you lemons, you make lemonade, this is how it is, make the best of what you have and love it all the way through. My wife was understanding to a point and very supportive until the Gulf war, when I signed up for my second tour there, as my unit was still serving, it was as the saying goes, “the straw that broke the camels back” I now understand her frustration but hindsight is always 20/20 LOL...

Nevertheless, we are still great friends and spend a great deal of time together when it is possible, as now she has a life of her own, and I have to follow her around if I want to be with her, funny how the tables turn, LOL. I have always loved my family and regardless to appearances I’ve always placed them paramount in my heart, and I believe that if it were not for my children; I would not have given the military as much of myself as I had, it is up in the air or the jury is still out on that one because I loved being an active Marine. The Marine Corps has been like a family to me as well and my duty to our country seemed more important than perhaps it should have been. Regardless, I have no regrets with the exception of that which I missed where my children in their formative years is concerned.  I did attend some graduations and many school house plays. I have always been (Secretly) known to my children as the ole man, not that they have ever called me anything but Daddy to my face, but we love each other as family should, they all have been great children causing neither of us (My wife and I) any worry, allowing me the serenity to work without having to worry about them, and that has made us prouder than most parents could ever be, but I am to them their ole man, funny right J.

As I said, I don't know what you are looking for in a bio, my current interests are this computer and taking photos; periodically turning one or more of them into paintings which hang throughout the world in the homes of friends and family from Olso and Bergen Norway to Bangor Maine, Brooklyn Alabama, Dallas Texas and several points north, south and south west of New York City… They all claim that one day when I am long gone, people will know me through those paintings that I have left in their hands, neighbor friends and family members, that should they be worth anything other than for conversation relative to this crazy American who I once knew to the family member that will remember me by them, and hopefully pass them on… It is to be their great fortune one day should they have more than a sentimental value, as I have mine in having known them and lavished in their laughter and friendship.

So again; I am just a simple man, loving God my family and my country" land of the wild, with streets paved in silver, Home of the Free and the Brave, her purple mountains majesty and lush green fur tree filled meadows…Marilyn, I love my Family, my life, I fear God and believe only in the one true God…America is a wonderful country and like most places we all have our bad apples, nevertheless they don’t spoil the whole basket we are good people and love as we are loved always. If there is something that you feel you can use here please do so, as these words come from my heart, they say mostly who I am, and basically what I love and believe in, other wise I will be looking forward to whomever it will be that calls upon me for more information.
