Let me introduce the most awesome group of team mates anyone could ever have! Not only are they my very good friends, but I also have the pleasure of working with them to bring this forum to all of you, each and every week;

Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:

1. Acts of kindness that they show to their fellow man.

2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.

3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.

4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example

5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work

So, if you know of anyone here at AdlandPro that are not necessarily "high profile" people per say, and that don't get the recognition that they deserve, let us know. We will be helping to get people recognized that should be *A SHINING STAR. All nominations must be in by Saturday and you please tell us why you believe the person deserves to be recognized.

The meaning of the name; KATHY

The name Kathy is a sort name of CATHERINE wich comes from the Greek name Αικατερίνη (Aikaterine).  It derives from the earlier Εκατερίνη (Hekaterine) which came from 'εκάτερος' (hekateros) "each of the two"; also it could derive from the name of the Goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek αικια (aikia) "torture".
The etymology is much debated it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". The Romans associated it with Greek καθαρός (katharos) "pure" and changed their spelling from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this

I would like to start by saying a Big Thank-You to all of my new friends here at Adland. You have taught me so much in such a short time.

Bio:
My name is Kathy Cuenca. A little about Childhood I was born & raised in a small town called Grand Haven, which is in Michigan. I grew up living in the city. My parents were very poor raising 4 children. my father worked a Full- Time job during the day, then at night he would go & work a Part-time job just to make ends meet.
When I was in the 5th grade my mother decided to go to work in the evening hours to help my dad out. She hated her job & always complained. We are best of friends now. My childhood was not easy with wearing hand me downs to school, being picked on all the time ( called names for being heavy). I struggled with a weight problem through my younger years.
Teen age rebellion years At 17 I became a single mother, raising a beautiful son ( with my parents help). I contunied to live at home til I was 19. I always seemed to knock heads with my mom so I decided it was time to get out on my own. I lived on welfare for awhile & they offered me the opportunity to start a job & earn a bonus. Welcome to Adulthood So I took on this job at a factory. I barely was getting by, but my family was still there for me.
This factory is where I met my Husband ( of 13 years now).
My husband runs his own business installing Carpet, Vinyl, & V.C.T. Tile. I also help him with all his paper work & sometimes I even help him install. He is a very hard working man. His Business is very slow right now.
At 24 I delivered a beautiful daughter whom is now 13. She is the reason I am at Adland today. She said "mom you got to try this web site people are so friendly" "what do you got to loose" she said? I told her to show me. I love it here at Adland.
At 29 I delivered yet another beautiful boy.
I have 2 step children ( 1 at home yet, 1 on his own). I am a grandmother of 3, 2 girls & 1 boy.
Work Offline 2 part-time jobs I work for our Local Post office as a Rural Carrier Sub. I love my job outside of the home as much as I love working Online. I deliver mail in a rural area & have learned 13 routes. I love to work with numbers & I have a gift with them. In order to work for the post office you must pass a special test. Someday I will go full time. Work Online I also host a Tupperware web site. Come take your shoes off, stay awhile & have a Diet Coke on me. I have been selling Tupperware for about 6 years now. I love our products as they carry a Warranty against chipping, peeling or just plain breaking. If Tupperware cannot replace it they will give you a credit to purchase new products.
