You are correct, everyone has the material to be a leader.  I think it is the difference between the words "Can and May".  You may become a leader with lots of hard work, give and take and picking oneself up off the floor. 

 Can you be a leader? Tthe choice is yours.  How long are you willing to work toward that goal.  In my training as a special ed teacher we were taught that if a person has enough opportunities, any one can attain their goal.  With people who have disabilities, that may never happen as they just can never have enough chances because of limitations. The struggle may be too great, consuming too much time and energy.

Thanks Joe, good thoughts----Love yourself, believe in yourself for in some cases, who else will?   LOL  Seriously if you don't like yourself would you join your team?  Would you buy your product? Would you follow your own advice?  So how can you lead if you don't know where you are going.

Leaders have goals, stay focused, never give up and live in confidence. Moses of the Old Testament was not a willing leader til he knew he was being trusted to fullfill a dream.  St. Paul was willing to endure prison, death threats, beatings, starvation etc. because he believed in his cause.  Claim the word "Passion" and live it out til you find someone is following after you.
