Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:
1. Acts of kindness that they show to their fellow man.
2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.
3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.
4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example
5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work
So, if you know of anyone here at AdlandPro that are not necessarily "high profile" people per say, and that don't get the recognition that they deserve, let us know. We will be helping to get people recognized that should be *A SHINING STAR*. All nominations must be in by Saturday and please tell us why you believe the person deserves to be recognized.

Well, they say I should say a little about myself. Well I could provide you with some very detailed information but I'm sure you'd like to get on with reading through the forums, so I'll make this real short! :-)
Suffice to say I am honoured to be featured here and would like to thank anyone who thinks I'm worthy of such a distinction. .....
Born in St. John's Newfoundland Canada, I guess you could say I have been almost like a gypsy every since, never having really called any place home for a long or extended period of time.
I became involved in trying to build a business online almost 12 years ago now, having tried almost every opportunity that came along! :-) Then, quite by accident I happend to come across Adlandpro back in 2004.
Over time I built many relationships with some really great people. Only problem was, I still wasn't getting anywhere with building any kind of business. Everyone was so willing to help, but I quickly learned that most were in the same boat I was in. Not knowing where to turn, or who to believe in!
Then I met someone here at Adlandpro about 2 years ago, that knew what they were doing when it comes to building and online business and had the background and qualifications to prove it. With a little direction, guidance, and some great input from some of the others here at Adland (that I am happy to call friends), I have been building an online business that has already far exceeded my expectations, and I'm just getting started! :-)
Unfortunately (or perhaps not), I have not been able to spend as much time around here as I would like. But, I have made a commitment to myself to drop in as often as time will allow. Maybe I'll be able to give back a little of what I have learned to help someone else.
Okay, that's my blurb! I'm not big on words as you can see. :-)
