Dear Tim..I thank-you for making this post as now more than ever we need to realize that we are not we do per say, but what we feel act and say to others..You give the gift of love without asking anything in return is without a doubt the truest treasues we can share.  I have always done my best to give of myself ..not for any accolades or praise but because to love and to give is a joy..and in that moment of sharing..you reap untold benefits...

We can always give moey to charities..but without love in your heart..it is just a gesture..without meaning..always give of you in the simplest way and that joy will come back to you one hundered fold...

I enjoyed reading the message and your notes. It really makes you think about your life and how you are living it.

 Are you doing and giving it for your glory? or are your allowing the Lord to get the glory by your doing and giving?

I try to live so that others will see God in me. I am not   tooting my own horn. I   pray that others will take (ha) a hint and start living for HIM, who will give you the riches you need and desires, rather than, always trying to give Him what is His already, so they take without giving him the glory.

Tim, another great forum. any forum which talks about GOD or part of His word is alright by me. I understand your concept of the taking & giving since your right it does all belong to GOD but: at my church UAG we do not Take an offering. taking sounds just like that we are taking the money etc. we allow the people to Give an offering this gives them the freedom to give to GOD we also push that it is all his anyway & how he will bless your obiedience.
