Hello Kathy ...

It is very nice to see you.  I hope you are keeping well ...

I agree that ads are bothersome ... but more to the point ... I feel that it is not nice to have to delete a forum posting ... I always feel terrible and make allowances for someone maybe not knowing how to go about advertising in AdlandPro, so I send them a message on how to ...

... but more bothersome than the ads ... I find it extremely bothersome and disturbing that there could be such an amount of disrepect going on between human beings and professionals.

I work with a few principles in mind:

a) My competitor could become my collaborator

b) My enemy could be my next best friend

c) Never judge an apple by it's appearance

d) Treat others as you wish to be treated

e) Effective networking and Marketing come from selling myself first.

f) Trust is everything

g) Respect all differences, I can learn something.

Take care and have a great week

Best wishes
Venerina

Hello Vererina,

Thanks for the invite! I believe just about anything and everything has already been said in all the above comments. I do agree with them.  I am fairly simple with my words and here is it for me in the nutshell.. I would never as a guest come into your home and put my feet on your sofa nor would I treat your home as if it were the city dumb.  After all you were kind enough to invite me in.

I was taught when you go to a forum you are a guest and there fore you should act like one. Be kind , respectful and if you don't have anything of value to add just read and leave. I do that many times here at Adland  many of you folks are such wonderful writers. I have been posting in forums for many many years before I came to Adland and there has always been common courtesy.

I have tried to be very careful about stating my opinion about a few things I have seen , but sometimes you just have to speak up.. if that looses me a friend than I suppose I did not need that person in the first place.

I try very hard to treat everyone I meet as I would want to be treated.

Vererina you did a beautiful job with this ! Ok I will shut up now lol

Blessings,

Geketa

Thank you for this article Dr. V.,

It is truly one of my pet peeves. The best advertising, in my opinion is the kind that just draws me into it to find out what is being sold.

Many unfortunate folks seem to think if they start to shout a message the minute a prospect opens the front door-it is effective-that just gets the door slammed in your face.

The other thing is that if people are studying on how to become better human beings, ones behavior must be consistent. You can't be combative and volatile in one environment and then expect your other environments to be calm and peaceful.

The universe just does not respond in that way.

We all benefit by such an elegant re-statement of intent as you have done here.

Keep up the good work.

Nice work. Just to sad that it is need off remainders like that.

If all just look up and think before they post, the most will be better.

Thanks

Geir
