Our forum features a member of the AdlandPro community each week who is truly a bright and shining *STAR*. It is a person that may not necessarily be a "high-profile" person per say, but rather someone that is not only a great friend to many, but also has a good heart and truly cares about others.

Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:
1. Acts of kindness that they show to their fellow man.
2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.
3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.
4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example
5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work
So, if you know of anyone here at AdlandPro that are not necessarily "high profile" people per say, and that don't get the recognition that they deserve, let us know. Here is Adebola's Bio:
I was born on the 25th of July 1977 into a family of five.
My childhood was not really an eventful one because at a very tender age, my parents separated. I was about six years then and I, with my two sisters, have to stay with our mother.
The experience wasn’t a pleasant one but I have been taught to always look for the good in every of my sour experiences. I didn’t realize what good there are in this then, but I now thank God for allowing me pass through all those harrowing experiences then.
Our mother went through a lot of hell trying to give us good education and raise us in a proper way. She really didn’t want us to feel the impact of our father’s absence. She was really a strong woman because she didn’t show any sign of weakness even when the load was too much for her.
My life took a total turn around while in my 4th year in the University. I was studying Mechanical Engineering then and I really wasn’t sure of the plan for my life. I just know that I am going to finish one day but wasn’t clear about what I will be doing after.
So many people have great expectations from me because I happen to be a brilliant chap while in school Some people were expecting me to become a doctor while growing up but I just know that I wasn’t cut out for that. So when I started studying Mechanical Engineering, not a few people were surprised.
As said earlier, my life took changed one fateful day. The cause: A BOOK! I love reading so much and my favourites used to be sport papers and magazines, especially those based on Football or what some of us call soccer. I started reading newspaper at age 9 and started buying three years after.
The book that caused this change was totally different from what I have been reading before. It is an inspirational, “Unleashing the Tremendous Potential within You,” By Bill Wayman. When I finished reading this book, I couldn’t help but cry inside because the veil fell off my eyes. I have been blind all these years. I haven’t seen the potentials inside of me. It was like I have wasted the past years of my life. I was 22 then.
That was how I became a dreamer and started setting goals for my life. These are things I have not done before. My thinking was also transformed; it became different from that of the average people. It was like being given a new lease of life. I made up my mind then that I will make use of all the talents I have within me and never bother working for anybody because once I start using my talents, there will be so much work to do for myself.
My entrepreneurial life started on a disastrous note. I was given an equivalent of $1,000 to start business then and it was a whole lot of me then considering the exchange rate. As fate would have it, I lost the whole money. My eyes cleared when it was down to $0.00. I just couldn’t believe it but it was a reality I have to face.
I was wondering why I have to start on the failure note. I was at a point of decision whether to go on or just pack it up. But there is something inside of me that was urging me on at that point. My question was what I will tell the future generation stopped me from achieving my dreams. I had no choice than to continue.
My decision back then was to go through all the experiences, good or bad, that come my way so that I can gain so much wisdom and be able to share my story in other to encourage others and here I am now.
I was able to translate all my experiences into a life-changing book, the Lessons of Life. This book has been able to touch so many lives all over the world, all to the glory of God. I have also just completed my second book featuring all the inspirational stories that have been a source of help for me in those trying times.
In addition to these, I run an inspirational website where I share my articles and several of my thoughts in order to motivate the people on my list. To make it more interesting, I am based in Nigeria, a country where a lot of people do not want to deal with online.
