I know a big golden dog named Max, I don't think he's a retriever but he's a golden color. My parents had 2 dogs, a beagle named Frisky and a poodle named Suzy. My mother-in-law has tons of cats, all with people names starting with the letter C. I think if we're gonna give pets the names of people, then we should name people after their characteristics, it would be more fun.
