Defining Our Identity
Jorge de la Vega often created works filled with chaos and confusion. He wanted his works to clash with the viewer and challenge their ideas of perception. In this work, de la Vega is exploring the idea of identity by using collage materials and paint to break down barriers between what is real and imagined. The artist is challenging us to think about the different aspects of ourselves that we present to the world and those that we hide.
