I think that this is a beautiful framed picture of succulents.

How They Work: Similar to nursery flats, these rectangular, plastic trays are divided into planting cells — all slanted at a 30-degree angle, with bottom holes that promote drainage and aeration. Each tray comes with a bracket for mounting, though you'll need to add a wood frame to achieve the "wall art" look above.

Plant Them With: Succulents like these, which have shallow root systems, are well-suited for trays with 2" x 2" cells. Opt for the larger 4" x 4" cells when planting small annuals, perennials, and edibles (such as lettuce).

Roger, those succulents are called Hen n chicks, and are actually also edible.

You can add the leaves to salads.

Soak fresh leaves in a bath or facial steam to heal and nourish the skin.

Apply the juice from a freshly sliced leaf to warts and other skin blemishes.

You can apply the sap from the inside of the leaf to minor cuts, scrapes, etc.... like you would an Aloe Vera plant.

You can soften skin around corns by apply a freshly cut leaf, sap side against the skin for several hours, then soak that area in hot water and attempt to remove the corn.

Infuse as a tea for septic throats , bronchitis, and mouth ulcers and sores.
