Crazy Subject Lines

What is the craziest subject line you have ever seen in an email?

Something from a Nigerian scammer?

A friend who sent you a joke?

Somebody playing a trick on you?

Someone too excited to spell check?

Whatever it is, share it here! Please do
keep it family friendly.

Here's one I got, today, a phishing scam, I am sure, but I wonder what country it's from...

"DEAR LUCKILY WINNER UR E_MAIL HAS WORN THE ON GOING NOKIA AWARD 2013"

First time I've known my email to wear anything...

I think some of the funniest if not craziest headlines I have seen so far have been from newspapers with titles such as:

Grandmother of eight makes hole in one
Deaf mute gets new hearing in killing
Police begin campaign to run down jaywalkers
House passes gas tax onto senate
Safety experts say school bus passengers should be belted
Quarter of a million Chinese live on water
Farmer bill dies in house
Iraqi head seeks arms

Every newspaper headline is a subject line, too. I think those guys at CTV News, especially, spend all their time trying to come up with these things!

You have hit the nail on the head in terms of ...this is the very first element that any one in advertising, marketing, blogging and even tweeting has had to learn and it all started with the newspaper reporters who wanted and needed their readers to be interested in what their stories...kind of cool in many ways and we can learn so much from their mistakes.
We may have evolved in terms of being digital, but the same concepts hold true today :-)
