Salvador Dali - After Michelangelo's "Moses", on the Tomb of Julius II in Rome
(

10_1_136.gifHi Miguel,

As soon as Shirley is feeling better, I will be in to make some comments. The past few pages does show quite abit of imagination. The only ones that I shy away from are the animals on stilts because those have appeared in some of my dreams. I'm not sure what they represent and not sure that I want to know.

GOD BLESS YOU

~Mike~

Miguel,
You mention the work that went into these paintings. Can you imagine the thought that went into everything that he painted.

I love these 1st two. the 1st one has so much to think about.
The 2nd one,Looking for the 4th Dimension. His mind must have been working overtime, to think of painting something like this. It is so fascinating, I think it is mind boggling.
I love the dream catchers added..

Three exquisite works, each in their own style, from the seventy's. Though unfinished, Three Graces of Canova is hugely appealing

Salvador Dali - Palace of the Winds (oil and collage on canvas,
circa 1972-73)

Salvador Dali - Searching for the Fourth Dimension
(
oil on wood,1979)

Salvador Dali - Three Graces of Canova (unfinished)
(oil on copper, 1979)

Dear friends, I am afraid that while still holding a few wonderful surprises, this thread is finally approaching its end. For now, let's see some of Dali's later years' work.

Salvador Dali - Nike, Victory Goddess of Samothrace, Appears in a Tree Bathed in Light
(
oil on plywood, circa 1977)

Salvador Dali - Figure Inspired by the Adam of the Ceiling of the Sistine Chapel
(
oil on canvas, 1982)

Salvador Dali - Head, after Michelangelo's "Giuliano di Medici"
(oil on canvas, 1982)
