	Luis, This is just what makes the interest in art so exciting. Not only a lost painting found, but for me, a new discovery. I really like this man's work. Exciting stuff.

	I find these paintings fascinating. There is a simplicity in detail that is evident in the non portrait faces, yet, the personality shines through. The palette is restrained. This painting is one of my favourites because it has a setting which encapsulates the elegant lifestyle and suggests the thoughtful expression of the lady. Despite all of that it is really the quality of the composition that captures me here. I can just sit and look at this painting.
