Thanks for the post explaining M.C.C. No need to explain more, I've read a little about the Mennonites and from what I know they are a sincere & faithful people. The main thing is for all of us to get involved in giving whatever they can, to the organization of their choice. There are many worthy organizations who give liberally to victims of catastrophes whenever they happen.
I appreciate David's concern for the people in Haiti, & I thank him for posting here in my forum. Usually, I don't allow someone posting there ads or topics that aren't in response to the topics already posted on the forum. In this case I've made an exception because I think the topic he posted is a heartfelt response to a disaster that needs all the help it can get from everyone.
I am giving through my church to this cause and my company is also making a donation through the organization we have chosen to give through. Encouraging to see the relief efforts are growing and that so many are coming to aid the people who have suffered so much.
Praise the Lord for people who are responding to the needs.
