Dallas & Kay Washer, Missionaries to Africa

Last night at a Ladies' Banquet we had a missionary to Africa speak, Kay Washer. What a blessing!

Some sayings from her husband, who was buried in Togo, Africa:

“I will very gladly spend and be spent for YOU!”

“Yes, Lord, I will be spent as a candle which is lit and gives our light, but in order to give out the light it consumes itself in the interest of bringing light to others, until there comes a moment when it sputters for the last time and is extinct.”

“ I have but one candle of life to burn, and would rather burn it out where people are dying in darkness than a land which is flooded with light.”
