God's Love or the Devil's Hell?

II Corinthians 5:14-15&21 “For the love of Christ constraineth us;

because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live

unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might

be made the righteousness of God in him.”(KJV)

Some people preach on hell to get folk to repent.

And hell is a real place they don't have to invent.

I too have preached of hell because it's in God's Word.

But to go through hell to heaven, to me is just absurd.

The fire of hell is real. Once there, there's no way out.

And eternity is forever, of that there is no doubt.

But to keep men true and faithful who call thus on Christ's name.

You must constantly remind them and continually stoke the flame.

This gives them just one reason to walk the narrow way.

In time the fire grow cooler and they begin to stray.

The truth of heaven is real and hell is a place to shun.

But you don't make a true convert at the barrel of a gun.

There's just two points to make when teaching about hell.

The fires of hell are true. It's an eternal place as well.

“The love of Christ constrains us.” that message will live on.

The power of God's great love will stay on when we are gone.

When teaching of God's love the theme goes on and long.

And it is the greatest theme of many Christian song.

So let God's love surround you and your joy will show each day.

You'll fall in love with Jesus which will draw men to “The Way.”*

John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
