I have been giving some thought to your question of What is a Friend? 

I ask myself what kind of a friend am I?

Am I trustworthy, honest, loyal, kind and considerate?  Do I give without any conditions or expectations?

Am I a fair weather friend or a forever friend?

Am I there when they call, no matter the time?

Here is a very simple message that I found on a card recently:

I am here, sunshine, rain.

Not just any rain,

Major downpour.

Yes, still here.

Here for you.

That's me.
