	Hi Judy! Welcome to GREECE 2009. Yes that was a superb song and there was much Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. The Hosting team Maria Menounos and Sakis Rouvas are also famous Vocalists. Sakis is our finalist for this year. Sakis Rouvas will represent Greece in the EUrovison Contes 2009 in Moscow in the middle of May. 	Hello Barbara! Welcome to Greece. In this Greece forum only best of best will be posted by me. Greece is a beautiful country and lots to see. Cental picture from the EuroVision SOng Contes Figures from the ancient greek mythology met the history of Greek music on a stage that was transformed to an ancient greek theater! Maria Menounos and Sakis Rouvas, the hosts of the song contest, compared the show with brio and humor. For this amazing spectacle over 250 technicians, dancers, actors and singers worked hard and the TV ratings reached 82.2% on average, which is a new record for the TV network NET. The OAKA stadium was packed with people and Eurovison fans who were enthused over the impressive music fiesta. Even though Greece didn't manage to win, the event itself stole the show. The Eurovision Song Contest 2006 was the 51st Eurovision Song Contest, held at the Olympic Indoor Hall in Athens, Greece on May 18, 2006 (Semi-Final) and May 20, 2006 (Final).
