Interesting that what my verse says has really been where I've been tested; I have signifigant remembrances and testimonies of surrendering to this councel and wisdom and of seeing literal results of this word.

Romans 12:19 NIV
Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord."

I seemed to learn in life that if I choose to avenge myself or strive to overcome or put down any who make theirself my enemies, or even attempt to justify myself due to pride, all I win or accomplish is whatever I can in my own power achieve, but if I rather choose to not return evil for evil but return love instead and also hold my peace vs. surrendering to pride, and trust God instead, I have seen times when:

Those who tried to triumph over me with evil were put down, or I've seen the efforts toward me backfire; and I've seen enemies be made to be at peace with me, which is a favorite to me!
