HAGIOS NIKOLAOS (ΑΓΙΟΣ ΝΙΚΟΛΑΟΣ)
S:t Nikolaos Churches are normally located at former Poseidon Temples in Greece. St Nikolaos is the patron of seafarers as Poseidon was at ancient ages.

DEC 12, S:t Spyridon
The word "spyri" mening sandcorn, grain, pimple, a is relared to to the anceint calendar. Following the old calender out traditions says "SPYRI, SPYRI MEGALONEI I MERA" meaning that the day is growing sandcorn by sandcorn. It was place as the forst day after winter solstice.

DEC 13, S:ta Loukia (Lucia)
Also this dahas to do with the old almanack (caleder)
The ancient greek root LUKY (lucy) is means (morning-)light. What does S:ta Lucias. She spreads light. The days are earning on nights.
