Yours was a great act of compassion.  How much better it would be to help to bring all those boys home while they are still in one piece.  I hesitate to remind everyone here that there were no wmd ever found, that the swelling tide of approval for being in our current war came about because of 9/11.  I won't ever forget that day, as I was watching the news and within five minutes of the planes hitting the towers they had photo's and complete dosiers on each and every terrorist involved.  For those of you who don't know how filming works, it takes longer than five minutes to put together complete packages including photos of perpetrators for airing.  This leads to the conclusion that the administration knew in advance what was going to happen and did nothing ... in order to garner support for yet another war. 

While my opinion will not be a popular one, I will continue to lobby to bring an end to the war and bring all our fathers, sons and significant others home from the war in one piece.  This I believe is the best way to support our troops, to bring them home safe and sound.

Thanks for sharing your flight experience. As I was reading what you wrote I felt a tingle run through my body, waking my spirit I guess.

Everyone should be more supportive of our men in uniform. Thanks for reminding us what we should do when we are in a similar situation.
