I come from an abusive background, and because of the road I have traveled to personal healing, my desire is to give hope to the lost. Yes, I say “lost,” as abuse can rob someone of their very personhood, especially when the object of that abuse is a child.
A few days after the birth of my son, my life shattered in front of my eyes. It was as though I had dropped a most beautiful crystal dish to be no more. My husband suddenly died on awakening one morning from a massive heart attack. Something woke me and I could see he was barely alive, only to watch him slip away from me in a matter of minutes, or was it seconds? This led to ten nightmarish years consisting of panic and anxiety. I became homebound, hit rock bottom, and from there literally clawed my way to emotional and physical health.
I realized emotional and physical wholeness upon discovering nutrition and natural healing, actually a good 20 years after my life literally shattered into pieces. I was able to become medication free and now live my life to its fullest.
Besides my Woman of Courage Forum on AdlandPro, I moderate two natural health forums, am helping build The Best Years in Life, tbyil.com, a magnificent natural health site, and have two blogradio shows: Agoraphobia: Person Under Construction and, of course, Women of Courage
The purpose of Agoraphobia: Person Under Construction is to support those suffering from panic and anxiety. My message is one of love, especially love for oneself, regardless of whatever challenge we may be facing at the moment. Healing is entirely possible and the future is bright.
Women of Courage features women who make a difference in their lives and in the world by their contributions, courage, love, and selflessness, despite facing insurmountable adversities and circumstances. Women of Courage are chosen from any walk in life. http://community.adlandpro.com/go/TC4Women/default.aspx A Side Note Luella as people post i promise you will enjoy the picture replys Lol.
