But I told that "We need other christian to become better christians..

There is no comprimising in the Christian walk my friend, either you follow Jesus or you dont. If a Christian wants to get married to a non Christian that Non Christian must repent and be baptised as the Christian did. Love was given to us by our redeemer not by a human. The Bible was given as lessons to us us to understand to teach and to learn, we dont have to do anything we dont want to ( freedom in Christ) and (freedom in religion) , dont you think since Jesus laid his life down for u that we ought to lay our lives down for Him in counting the cost?
