Saying and expressing "I love you"  does mean so much.

It is not just the words but knowing them to be true.

I do not know just why we wait

To speak of love upon this date

When all year long folks need to know

How much we care and love them so.

We speak of sports and weather too

Why not include, “ I love you.”

Just those three words can say so much,

Included with a tender touch.

When times are hard, as life can be,

Which way to turn we cannot see.

You’d be surprised what this will do

To warm your heart and see you through.

These words I say come from the heart.

“My love for you will not depart.

But grows each day and will stay true.

So let me say that, I  LOVE  YOU!”
