Just got an email pm from a friend, replied and now writing this down from my box "o" Christian goodies lol, my teachings, the title is called "LIFE FROM DEATH" In 1 John 12:20-26 reads; Now there were some greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast. (this is around of the passover time) They came to Philip, who was at Bethsaida in Galilee, with request. "Sir", they said, "w would like to see Jesus." Philip went to tell Andrew; Andrew and Philip in turn told Jesus. Jesus replied, " The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a kernal of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it produces seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My ather will honor the one who serves me. Noticed in v.23 that Jesus says the time has come for him to be "glorified." What do you think of when you hear that someone is about to recieve "glory?" In v.24 Jesus most likely suprised his disciples. He indicates that the way he will find his gory is by becoming that seed that falls to the ground and dies. What does he say will be the impact of the seed that dies? How do we know that this princible of being the seed that falls to the ground and dies applies to us who are his disciples of Jesus? Particularly notice v.26. Why is this an exciting principle? In your life right now, who do you need to "die" for so they can become a disciple? I often return to this lesson to show how my rabbi Jesus did this for me, although many many years ago but his spirit lives in me and so i show that by my lessons i teach to you that was taught by another disciple of Christ to me. To die for somebody or to give up your life for another, caretaker, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather well you get the point so the question i wrote i utilized it so some of you can have a better understanding couse not alot of you arent a teacher, but you could be though?? lol. I pray about that. Anyway , in your life right now, who do you need to "Die"for? thats what i did for my Rabbi Jesus. Enjoy your week my friend. God_bless you. Thomas (prayerwarrior)
