What Would Jesus Do If He Were Here?
1/21/2008 3:58:08 PM

I was looking over the page and as I was reading my eyes came across the phrase, "What would Jesus do if he were here." And to this question I thought in- depth.

But to be frank He would not desire or even want  to be here on this corrupt planet as this particular time.

What do I mean by this statement? For isn't it true that Jesus loves us and died to save us? Yes! Yes! Yes! That has nothing to do with the question.

Let's allow the Bible to talk to us about this issue...John 14:1-4 "Do not be worried and upset," Jesus told them. "Believe in God and believe also in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so. And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am. You know the way that leads to the place where I am going."

Jesus greatest desire is not to be here on planet earth with us but to have us in heaven with Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9, "However, as the scripture says, "What no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love Him"

So my Brothers and Sisters in Christ let us be faithful because we will reap if we do not give up. Plus we shall see Jesus face to face for we shall be just like Him.

And remember that Jesus wants to meet us in His kingdom and not the other way around. PEACE!!!

Thank you for the info. Frankly i think if Jesus did appear on earth again he would not be disgusted for he knows everything under the sun, he knows you more than you know yourself, he would just as i do dear brother that the answer is with him and know where else, you must also remember that he gave us free will to choose how we should live, and being a Christian priest i believe in his words whole heartly when he preached to the church in Ludicia. Your either Hot or Cold you cant be luke warm. SO you follow? or you dont! Free will. We cannot force anyone to know Him we can only spread the word to inform them of the good News that he did come back and that he did promise us eternal life with Him if we , reapent and be baptized. Thank you for your sharing my friend. Matthew 28:18 is a good read and the book of Acts.
