Can You Really Make Money On The Internet? Many Say NO!
1/19/2008 10:39:30 AM
Hi Everyone, This question has been brought to my attention so much that I felt it was time I addressed it. If you are scared of hearing the truth, please feel free to read no further. Like many of you, I started years ago on the Internet on a journey to make my fame and fortune and live the lavish life of the "Rich and Famous". I did all the things that that the so-called "GURU's" told me to do after spending countless $$$'s and I still ended up behind the 8 ball. I jumped from program to program to see if the next one was better. I even joined many to see if I could make more money and all I found out was that I was going broker by the day. Well, after 15 grueling years of losing nothing but money on the Internet, I finally learned how to make money month after month. I learned that Network Marketing is a job just like any other offline job, we are just in a virtual world with an international clientelle. If i was going to succeed, I needed to put in the time, to me that was a minimum of 12 months and take the rollercoaster ride. All the up's and down's that came with it, and you know what, it started to pay off. I greww massive downlines and they made money month after month after month. So what's my point? Well, it's simple, if you have been jumpiong from program to program, giving each program 30-60 days, that's your problem. I have, in the last 5-6 years, been building downlines at an average of 300-500 a month in any program I join but the key is, to stay with the program to the point where it can eventually continue to grow on it's own. This is why the F5M Marketing Group is doing so well in Fortune5Minutes. We have made a commitment for long term growth. Those that decided to focus and build will be handsomely rewarded, those that sit back, well, they will have the opposite result. If you do no work, you make no money, it's that simple! Many people will tell me that people just don't have $25.00 or $49.95 to join our program. That is the biggest cop out line on the Internet. If they did not have the money to spend, they wouldn't be on the Internet in the first place. So when someone tells me they don't have the money, it tells me that they are not a committing type and quite frankly, I don't want them in my business and neither should you. I want everyone who reads this to think about this very carefully as each one of you has done this at least once in your marketing career, I know I have. The biggest complaint I get from my downline is they tell me that their downline is not doing anything, they are not following the program. I call these people "tailgaters", someone looking for a free ride. They join a program and then don't do anything waiting to see if their downline gets built while they move on to another program. Let me tell you how this impacts people. It causes emotional depression! Yes, when you join a program and walk away, you are causing emotional depression for someone, when someone walks away from your business, it causes you to get depressed and lose faith in the program. Sound Familiar? Too many marketers take internet marketing as a hobby and they should be ashamed of themselves as they are playing with people's livelihood's. Many people on the Internet are trying to make a living from this, this is their only source of income and people just join, get thier hopes up and then fade away. Is that fair? So, the next time you decide to join a program, think about what you are doing, think about waht some of your downline is doing to you and how you feel about building a downline that fades away. There is a fix and it is called COMMITMENT! If you want to succeed on the internet in any program, you need to commit to it for a minimum of 12 months and focus on it. There are many tools a services on the Internet that can help you build your business. Heck our program, Fortune5Minutes, is the perfect feeder program for any business meaning that you can create cash flow and growth for other business opportunities. There are resources to use such as online conferencing, voip for communication and the list goes on. Want to learn how to put people in your business weekly, come and see me every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:00pm and 9:00pm EST in our conference room for some free online training at http://beam.to/hbtconference Here is to your financial future,

If you are hearing this so much maybe there is a problem. I have been to nearly every meeting since I have joined  and use  the advice that is given.

I spend hours surfing the web looking for places to put up ads and posts, also maintaining the many social and business networks available. I am not lazy or looking for a free ride.

And I cannot afford to spend any more money . I just don't have it . I spent what I could and I have to be resourceful.

I don't want to feel bad about not being able to build my down line when I am working at it so hard.

I am following the program.

I have been doing this for 6 months  so I am learning. 15 years is a long time to figure things out. I don't have that kind of time .I know I will achieve my goal in way less time. Encourage not discourage! I really like the concept of F5M and if I have to do it alone so be it but I am not a tailgater .I just have not had any sign-ups.

I wrote this because I am one of those people who have  brought this to your attention.

I do not want to be afraid to say I need help.

HI Meg, There was no intention to make anyone feel bad and if you read it correctly, it was targeted at all marketers, including myself. We just need to focus more on a team environment of which many do not. You will succeed online as you take the time to work with your group. You attend all the conferences and trainings so you actually do not fall in any of the categories I mentioned. This is just a wakeup call for marketers that join programs but do not participate. You have done way more than that and you should be commended by your upline and downline for your efforts. I really do thank you for your comments as I expect to receive many more on this subject. Many though from people that I haven't heard from since they joined our group. To Your Success,

Hi Meg

I too have been in this for several months now and try to get to at least one conference call per week. I am committed and have a full time job so my on-line time is limited at the moment.

I am learning everything that is given to us at the conferences and am gradually putting things I learn into practice. I know I will eventually succeed because others are doing the same thing and succeeding. It may take me another 12 months but so be it. I have tried other stuff but have not stuck it out long enough to make it work but I intend to stick around for this one.

I would like to also thank Carl for all his support and encouragement. If you feel down hearted just go back to the weekly conference meetings and you immediately get your spirits lifted again. I'm sure if you stick with it you'll also succeed.

Kind regards

Brian

Hi Meg,

Don't be depressed - I know it's difficult when you get home exhausted from the day job and have to spend several hours every evening online, but I honestly feel that F5M is the best program to be with - I haven't cycled or made any money yet, but the team spirit here is so much better than in any other program I've tried (I've spent months joining things and trying to make them work).  And the training is good, even if sometimes Carl does make you feel like a naughty schoolkid (joke!) - I know that sometimes that's what I need to make me get out there and try something new, because it's very easy to get stuck in a rut (the old saying, if you keep on doing what you've always done...)

And DOTM should prove exciting over the next few months, so let's see where we can all get to by the end of this year.

Stick with it, we're right with you.
