Dear Jews,

Many Jewish people have been told that Jesus is not Israel's Messiah .

Since Biblical times, many Jews have doubted that Jesus is Christ,

in that the Holy Bible records the following incident:

The Jews gathered around Him (Jesus), saying:

"How long will you keep us in suspense?

If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." (John 10:24).

Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe." (John 10:25).

Furthermore, Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching,

testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.

But when the Jews opposed Paul and became abusive,

he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them,

"Your blood be on your own heads!

I am clear of my responsibility.

From now on I will go to the Gentiles." (Acts 18:5-6).

A Jew named Apollos, a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures

...taught about Jesus accurately,...(Acts 18:24-25). Apollos used the Scriptures

to convince many (not all) Jews that Jesus was the Messiah. "For he vigorously refuted

the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ."

(Acts 18:28). But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. (Romans 10:16).

"Therefore let all Israel be assured of this:

God has made this Jesus, "both Lord and Christ." (Acts 2:36).
