Hi everybody
continued God: Adib Taherzade; "There are two passages in the Qouran which appear to be contrary. One speaks of the unity of the Messengers of God, the other exalts Some above Others. Bahaullah quotes these and explains the oneness of the Manifestations of God, on the one hand, and the differences on the other. Of their unity He states: 'Furthermore, it is evident to thee that the Bearers of the trust of God are made manifest unto the peoples of the earth as the Exponents of a new Message. Inasmuch as these Birds of the Celestial Throne are all sent down from the heaven of the Will of God, and as they all arise to proclaim His irresistable Faith, they therefore are regarded as one soul and as one person..." Here I'd like to say to Christian readers : This is the Alfa and Omega status, which Jesus reveals. "These Manifestations of God have each a twofold station. One is the station of pure abstraction and essential unity. In this respect, if thou callest them all by one name, and dost ascribe to them the same attribute, thou hast not erred from the truth. Even as He hath revealed:'No distinction do We make between any of His Messengers!'(Qouran) For they, one and all summon the people of the earth to acknowledge the Unity of God, and herald unto them ...an infinite grace and bounty. They are all invested with the robe of Prophethood, and honoured with the mantle of glory... It is clear and evident to thee that all the Prophets are the Temples of the Cause of God, Who have appeared clothed in divers attire. If thou wilt observe with discriminating eyes, thou wilt behold them all abiding in the same Tabernacle, soaring in the same heaven, seated upon the same throne, uttering the same speech, and proclaiming the same Faith. Such is the unity of those Essences of being, those Luminaries of infinite and immesurable splendour. Wherefore, should one of these Manifestations of Holiness proclaim saying: 'I am the return of all the Prophets,' He , verily speaketh the truth. In like manner, in every subsequent Revelation, the return of the former Revelation is a fact, the truth of which is firmly established.' Then speaking of the differences which distinguish the Manifestations of God, Bahaullah explains: '...In this respect, each Manifestation of God hath a distinct individuality, a definitely prescribed mission, a predestined Revelation, and specially designated limitations. Each one of them is known by a different name, is characterized by a special attribute, fulfills a definite Mission, and is entrusted with a particular Revelation. Even as He saith:'Some of the Apostles We have caused to excel others. To some God hath spoken, some He hath raised and exalted. And to Jesus, Son of Mary, We gave manifest signs, and We strengthened Him with the Holy Spirit.' It is because of this difference in their station and mission that the words and utterances flowing from these Well-springs of divine knowledge appear to diverge and differ. Otherwise, in the eyes of them that are initiatedd into the mysteries of divine wisdom, all their utterances are in reality but the expressions of one truth."
"Consider the rose: whether it blossometh in the East or in the West, it is none the less a rose. For what mattereth in this respect is not the outward shape and form of the rose, but rather the smell and fragrance which it does impart.'" Also at other passages in these Scriptures we come to know that Faith is revealed wholly according to the capacity of us human beings. Jesus says that you, His disciples cannot bear the whole truth now," but when He,... comes He will lead you to the whole truth." The different Missions can be, for exemple, to give to mankind the basis for family-building in prehistoric ages, tribe-building, city- state-building , nation-building;(Muhammad for exemple) and finally the One earth-One country building (Bahaullah). The Message of Christ was, "come and I will make you fish men). Bahaullah says come and "I will make you quickeners of mankind". Jesus came with love, Bahaullah came with justice and love an so our divine lessons are widened. In this article I have in a way explained reincarnation through quoting Bahaullahs exemple of the rose. The attributes, the virtues are again re- created, not its bearer, the rose. Every rose is unique, every person is unique. Every person is unique from the moment the seed from man and the egg of woman are united. Therefore the teachings of reincarnation are alien to the Bahai Faith. In fact alien to the lessons of all the Messengers of God. If it is alien now, it must have been alien to the former Messengers. The concept has aroused from misunderstandings. Moreover, a human can not become a frog, a frog cannot become a man. Man was in the beginning ever meant to become man, just like an elephant was ever meant to become an elephant. It is indeed strange to see that some people should imagine he is or is to become an animal, when he dies. I should think, this is my personal opinion, that people tend to like the idea of getting created again, whether as a man or as an animal, at times, at certain periods in history, when they do not have a deep and throrough conviction that the world beyond, for a believer, is that wonderful heavenly and eternal station, which is preached about in the Holy Scriptures. As for me, it is quite unthinkable to return to earth, because of boredom , which is said to incur "after a while"after death. Or even that we should have a say ourselves in our own birth, chosing our own parents. These are thoughts going around nowadays..This, the birth of man is indeed is Gods domain. Also why should the prophets prepare us so diligently for the Kingdom of God if we were not to stay there. Many people come along with "evidences". I'd say they have dreamt it, visited the worlds of mysteries, and travelled there where time and space doesn't matter, while asleep. I have a Bahai friend who has had vivid dreams of visiting former times and has all the evidence. But she doesn't doesn't look forward to anything else but to see forever the heavenly realms, the Kingdom of God, which is eternal and filled with love and radiance. The dream worlds are indeed visited, wholly independent of the body. These worlds" are inscrutable to all except God", "there are worlds besides this world"we are taught . I am satisfied with that. Bye for now I am going to learn webdesign at a course held in a town nearby so have a nice evening, dear readers. Laila
