Do you use Traffic Exchanges to generate traffic?

What is Tabbed Browsing

This term is often used to describe the common practice of surfing more than one traffic exchange at the same time.

This method is possibly one of the most controversial aspects of traffic
exchange surfing, this issue divides users right down the middle.

Traffic Exchange members fall into two camps on this method. 

Supporters of this technique argue that they are still viewing each web page and it allows them to generate more traffic without breaking the terms and conditions.

Opponents argue that the surfer is not viewing every page for the full length of time and that this is only one small step away from cheating.

Because of the delicate nature of this argument, I'm going to refrain from offering an opinion.

Except to say that tabbed browsing is NOT necessary to earn traffic and if you decide against it, this does NOT mean that you won't be successful in using TEs.

However, if you decide to go down this route, I would recommend the following steps:

Never load more than 5 TEs at any one time.
Be sure to still view EVERY web page carefully.
Never open the same TE in two different browser windows.
Never use software that claims to surf automatically.

Good info Jason,
I would ask the opponents of this method how many times can you look at the same website during a surf session?
If I want to stop-I will so its hard to see the downside.

You are correct, the tabbed browsing would produce the more
traffic than browsing one exchange at time.

Here's another nice little TE tip.

You can do this if you use a link cloaker/tracker like:

Note: and you should be, here's why....

Let's say you want to change the link you are promoting on 5 or 6
traffic exchanges to another.

Here's the way you can change the link simply by changing 1 url at
just 1 site.

Members of Viraul url (or your own link cloaker) you just login and
go to the link cloaking area in the back office.

You create a cloaked link and call it any name you choose.

For this example we'll use TE so the url we get is

http://viralurl.com/mep/TE (I do not have a folder set up her it is just for example this link goes nowhere)

We enter this url as the display url for our traffic credits
on all 5 or 6 exchanges.

When we want to change the link we display on the TE's
we just go to our link cloaker and edit the link in the cloaked
url to our NEW website.

Now the displayed on all our TE's has changed to the NEW one we
entered in our link cloaker.
