downline

In the words of the downline... "This gentlemen can help you build a down line as easily as you leave a watery trail in the bathroom after a shower. He's a champion in the Network Marketing Arena. Talk to him if your down line needs a little pick me up. Drop by the Network Marketing forum and say hi." Well, my downline needs a little pick me up. I will go through the previous posts and see what I can find. I only started my business two weeks ago, but am anxious to build a strong downline. (and hopeful that my downline will do the same!) If you have any suggestions that aren't already posted, would you mind sharing them? Thanks a bunch! Summer http://www.summerkupres.ws http://www.movie.ws/summerkupres

Hello Summer, I see I am way behind. Sorry to take so long. I am dealing with over 600 emails a day and I really try to answer each one that needs answering. A little bit about downlines. It takes a while to build real downlines. Each member of your downline will need to repeat what you do. So the key in building a downline is don't sell. You are saying to yourself right now "he's nuts". You need to educate and give them the tools to become successful. With their success comes your success. The first step to educating is by networking. By networking you are getting to know people and they getting to know you. You start building a trust and when your aquaintence needs something offer them a way to get it or find it. If you have what they need you can recruit them. Now train them to do the very same thing. Network. Build trust. Offer when called for. As long as you stay true to helping others you can build an empire. To manage, you will need to know how to use forums and other means of communications. Newsgroups help in this arena. Blogs are another. Community boards and NewsLetters and Ezines, too. DO NOT USE EMAIL unless you have permission to send information and only information. You want to lose someone mail them an ad. Well, hope this puts a little light on the subject. Until the next time. Kenneth R Sword Jr

Summer: There is a forum at AdlandPro created by Beth called "Building Downlines" the entire forum there is an example of how someone can list a favorite program, one person signs up and then that person posts their new affiliate url and the second person signs up under them and they give their new url so the third person signs up under them, etc. If people follow the "rules and procedures" properly, then each person has the chance to get one person under them. and of course the people who submit the program first may have signups on several levels. Then a program is presented to a group of "friends" in this manner, it goes without saying that it should be a high-quality program that is already really working for you. You can look for this sample forum at this url http://community.adlandpro.com/forumShow.aspx?ForumID=4043 note that there is 4 capital letters in that url above. If the link doesn't work try going to the list of adlandpro Categories then goto Advertising then goto Building downlines. look for the topic called "Rules" and browse the other topics as well. Probably not a lot of people did join under each other. As an example I was the first person to list a favorite traffic exchange called webbizinsider. Beth joined under me, and then she re-posted to show her affiliate url and invited others to join under her. You never know when even one person joining your downline could be someone with a large list who signs up a large number of members. Hope this helps, Wayne

Hi everyone, I am very new here so I hope this is not "out of line". If it is I am sure someone will snap off my head and make sure I know. My apologies if this is the case. The issue of ACTIVE downlines, referring to the comment that your downline has to repeat what you do. That is exactly true. I started with a program about a month ago that requires your downline to be active. You go through "stages" in your membership and actually earn a little money while learning to hone marketing skills. The first stage you need to personally refer five people. This ensures you are active - BUT ALSO - your upline is required to help you do this if you need it. I have personally referred 7 individuals. One already has got her five, and another has three. I keep in contact with them and offer whatever help I can. The ones who don't refer their five don't move to the next level. However, my total downline is over 200. Isn't that nice? Once you become a full member you can take that team you have built into other programs. I don't know if this makes total sense, but I thought it may be of interest to some who are trying to build downlines. Ok, well I won't post a link here - if anyone would like to know more about this or the program I am referring to, just let me know. Hope this is ok, and hopefully helps someone somewhere. Hello Veronica, It's great you have built a downline in the hundreds. I commend you for doing this. Not everyone can build downlines this size. I want to play devil's advocate for a moment. What would happen if you decide on a program to take your downline to and they do not wish to follow? Or your upline offers another program but you feel the program doesn't meet your needs. Do you offer it to your downline? These become tough desicions being in the middle of a matrix. One example that comes to mind for me. I have been mentoring an individual that is in a matrix type program. They could get better services and more freedom from using other sources but that person feels this matrix program will be the bread winner in the long run. It does help build downlines but that's all. The program cost twice a much for services than if the person got the services elsewhere and they have restrictions on how they can use the service. You cannot use it to promote other services to diverse yourself or your downline. So I guess I am asking you to look at 'freedom' of choices when in this situation. Good post and wish you the best.
