Internet marketing is not a lot different than the old tale about the "turtle and the hare".  If you are unfamiliar with this story it is about a race between a turtle and a hare.  The hare was far superior to the turtle in speed and agility, but was easily distracted.  The turtle on the other hand moved very slowly, but was persistent, stay focused, and continued to set its eyes on the final goal (to win the race).

In the end the turtle won.  The hare got distracted along the way and the turtle walked through the finish line first.
