As a man prepared for his first skydiving experience, his jumpmaster noticed that he was nervous. "Don't worry, buddy. Just get out there, arch your back, count to ten, and pull your main ripcord. If it has a problem, pull your reserve. After you land, a truck will pick you up and take you back to the base." When it was time, he exited the plane, arched his back, counted to ten, and pulled his ripcord. Nothing happened, so he pulled his reserve. Dirty laundry fluttered out of the reserve container. As the ground rushed up to meet him, he thought, "That's just great. I bet the damned truck doesn't show up, either!"
