Sharon thanks for starting this forum. Valerie, I am here to help in anyway I can. Send me a message and I will answer any questions that I can. Don't even mention frustration at the medical profession in their handling of cancer. I can go on for days!! Just this past year, we lost another member, a dear cousin from exactly what your Momma has. His younger brother died only a couple years before he did from the same thing.
These cousins fought it from day one and the results were the same if they had done nothing, perhaps even worse from all the treatments. My dear niece lived her last year possibly knowing she had cancer but enjoyed her family and her first grandchild. When she had to give in and go to hospital, it was over within two weeks. My brother fought his lung cancer and they called me his guardian angel. Together we tried everything, all the alternative methods, herbal treatments, even calling in a natural cure doctor. In his case, it was too late, it was just too far advanced. The doctors wanted to keep putting him through tests and I stood in their faces and told them "NO"! They were shocked but agreed with me. It was a long and painful road for him and he wanted to live, he was not ready to die. Ask me anything, I have lots of information.
God bless all of you who have cancer or have a loved one with it.
Sara
