I just want to tell everyone how much I appreciate Vonage, my voip service provider.
My automatic monthly payment hit my bank today. Unfortunately, my checking account was overdrawn because of fraudulent charges to my PayPal account. My bank and PayPal are already working together to resolve that issue.
The kicker is this:
I called Vonage Customer Service to tell them about the problem between my Bank and PayPal. I asked Vonage to please suspend taking my monthly payment from my checking account until the other issue is resolved. The service fee from my bank would have been more than my phone bill.
Did Vonage defer my payment? No.
Did Vonage help me otherwise? EMPATHICALLY YES!
To save me from overdraft charges, Vonage refunded my monthly payment, and gave me this month's and next month's phone service FREE!!!
Two free month of phone service! HURRAY FOR VONAGE!!!
