Branding ones self is like selling you. What you are actually doing is selling you to customers thru your writings, ads, and other forms of promotion.

It is essential that this be done and there are many great books on the subject that can be purchased at amazon for almost nothing.

Your correct but you do not need to buy books to learn it you can set by examples.

You are right you do not have to buy any books but there are some great ones by people like Jay Abraham, Bob Bly, and countless others that set the footwork for the Branding Process we currently go by.

You can also use an online live mentor, follow what others are doing, benchmark so to speak. Your best asset is yourself and you are your best USP! Selling yourself sells for you, known facts of marketing principles.

True we can break the mold and branch out and try new ideas, many Millionares are doing it everyday. What is comfortable to you as long as you create a Brand for yourself and a USP!
