Deleting ADDS from my forums!
8/25/2007 5:17:16 AM
Hello Everyone :-)

Dear friends, this is an unusual post coming from my side; I never did this before but I have to clean up a bit around my Forums.

While I was away, in some of them THE MAIN SUBJECT is almost lost!
That is why I decided to delete all the unrelated posts. This is nothing personal and I do not intend to offend anyone but one must know where to find and what!

For the future, please do not post your offers/business, but in the specially created and destined place.

This is it! http://community.adlandpro.com/forums/thread/789221.aspx

Thank you so very much for your understanding and support.

Sorry for this kind of boring post for many of you.

Wish you all a wonderful weekend,
Anamaria

Thanks for letting me know, Anamaria. I've been thinking of doing the same thing with my forum, also. I've seen forums lately with one thread dedicated to advertising and that sounds like something I might want to do also. How about we call it 'back to school cleaning' LOL

Hello Ana-maria,

I think when people post ADS in a forum with no respect for the topic they deserve more than just being deleted.

If only they knew this sort of desperation does not do any favors for them or there business, its looked upon as disrespectful and no regard for a person.

I unwritten rule is if you start a new thread in someone else's forum space you must request permission, unless you do a big ad centre to be popular (some do this for popularity here).

It would be good if we could maintain less ads and create more content, this is always more benefical to everyone, its awful how you had to justify the delete when they are the ones being rude.

Ana-maria you have to do this, if you do not you do have a forum that looks unorganised and just another ad section on the site.

Don't feel bad, they should.

Lisa
