CREDIT, DEPOSITS, WHAT TO DO?
8/8/2007 10:22:10 AM

You’ve just been turned down (failed the credit check) for the cellular plan & phone you wanted. On the other hand, perhaps, you are approved but the service provider requires a $100 or greater security deposit.

Here are a couple of things, you may not know.

Just like banks, the credit requirements of every cellular provider are not equal. Some are more lenient than others are.

If a deposit is requested, generally speaking, it is credited back to your account (assuming you’ve made timely payments and you’re in “good standing”) after you’re twelve months into your contract.

Every situation is a little different. Consider contacting us privately to best address your exact situation.

We hope this information is helpful!
