What a great idea for a forum, Tracy!

My Mom is blind and at age 94 is still taking classes and writing and otherwise being active in her community. She doesn't use a computer, though and I'm curious about the technology available now. For the past 10 years I have recorded a weekly radio program for The Washington Books and Braille radio station and many times there are websites mentioned in the articles I read. I know many people listen to the radio station on the net, but my question is whether there is voice technology available now and/or how do you access the internet? I know, you'd think a person would know that, but I can't quite picture it.
